Thoughts and Photos from IPW Grave Danger II

I’ll have more thoughts once the replay is posted on YouTube, but for now.

  1. Davison Sarai surprised Randi West (and much of the crowd–well at least me . . .I definitely got worked) by attacking and ultimately defeating West for the IPW Women’s champion.

Suffice to say she fared significantly better than the non-award winning half of the announcing crew did when he had to get in the ring a few weeks ago.

Maybe Davison can offer Mark Franchise some self-defense pointers.

2. Hype got his revenge on Jeramaya Nazareth, though the table seemed to be the real winner here.

3. It was good to finally see a wrestler focused on the importance of motivation and good hydration.

Alas, the power of positive thinking was not enough to prevail in the Battle Royale, which Solo won.

4. There was an entire section devoted to booing Derek Wolfe. This needs to be a regular thing. In addition to front row and general admission tickets, IPW should consider selling “Derek Wolfe Sucks” seating.

This gentleman nailed it.

5. Topp Gunn looked good rocking that Team Forever 21 gear, as he tried to take on the Subscribers while his nominal tag team partner, Forever Young, repeatedly interfered.

6. The highlights of the evening were LaDon Sanders vs. Myron Reed and Dread King Logan vs. Karam. No pictures because there was no way I was taking my eye off the in-ring (and often out-of-the-ring) action.

Dread King Logan did a spot off the apron onto Karam while he was lying on the floor that had the camera person turning in our direction and mouthing “that had to hurt.”

Easily the best IPW show since War On The Shore.
